Our Shoji Blinds have been featured on TV several times- we’re the ONLY firm in the world making Shojis that require no bottom track, and are incredibly light. They’re made from Obeche, almost the lightest weight timber in the world, air-dried and stained/painted in Valencia for a perfect finish. They’re all made-to-measure and an individual panel can be as small as you like up to 1500mm wide and 3200mm high. We have 5,000 fabrics to choose from as well as Japanese paper- the most popular is ‘Tranquil’ white, an imitation paper that is immensely strong. Shoji Blinds were actually invented in China, but made popular by the Japanese- Shojis are usually made with ‘Washi’ paper, although we rarely use it- our Japanese clients prefer the stronger polyesters. Our Shoji Japanese Blinds have been featured on ‘Grand Designs’, ‘Double Your House For Half The Money’ and BBC2 on the ‘Chelsea Flower Show’ as well as in countless magazines.
