Timeless Japanese Room Dividers

Our Japanese Screens are usually mounted by velcro on a panel blind headrail- they are made from ‘Obeche’ timber, almost the lightest weight wood on the planet (it’s one-quarter the weight of Oak!), which has a beautiful grain. Before we use it, it has been air-dried in Valencia in Spain (no kiln-drying!) to keep it incredibly stable.

Complementing Designs

The Room Divider panels can be removed in seconds and many fabrics are very easily cleaned- ‘Tranquil’ can be wiped easily with a wet cloth to remove water-based stains. They slide with just a fingertip touch, stacking one-in-front of the other at one or both sides.
